What is a photo collage?
A photo composite is a digital collage, produced from photos which are either scanned or received as digital files on
disk or via email. They are then digitally manipulated and/or enhanced using a computer to produce a desired artistic
effect. The resulting electronic files are then saved and can then be printed to special archival, photographic printer
papers. Such files can also be recalled at a future date to be altered and/or produce an exact duplicate copy.

Why purchase
a photo collage?
Unlike a special teddy bear that is nice at the moment, or box of chocolate that is soon eaten, even a lovely bouquet of
flowers that lasts only a few days ... a custom photo composite can provide a lifetime of memories.
Unlike a typical collage of loose photos that usually lacks eye appeal, we present you with an artistic, eye pleasing, seamless image. With today's technology, we can produce a blended, timeless image capsule of life's memorable moments. They can be hung on the wall, displayed on a desk or shelf. Each family member can have his or her own exact, keepsake copy of that special person, pet, or memorable moment. A photo composite from Strong Keepsake Images is truly a timeless gift that will bring pleasant reminiscence. It will be treasured for years to come!
What do I get when I purchase a photo collage?
All customers receive personal attention from me, Jeff Strong, with either telephone or e-mail communication. Within a
few daysI will e-mail a low resolution image file to verify that I am doing what they had in mind. I will do 2 sets of
minor changes. All my work is reviewed several times by myself and an associate to ensure the most pleasing final
product. Local customers that either pick up or have their final product hand delivered by me, will receive a handsome,
white, gift box ( Classic 8" x 10" collages only). Long distance customers will receive a sturdy brown, corrugated
shipping box.
Will I like my collage?
No, you will not. You'll absolutely love it! Before you view your collage for the first time, be sure to have a box of tissues nearby...most people tend to cry out of happiness. Tears of joy are a frequent by product of my work. Whatsmore, you can stare at it for hours and completely overlook some of the photos! I am interested, but how will you get my photos?
Please let me add an important note here. In many cases you may have old photos that you may not feel good about sending
to me if you are a long distance customer. It works very well if you go to your nearest copy center and make good quality
copies for me to use. For digital camera users, you can email me your digital photos to:
info@strongkeepsakeimages.com .
Be sure you are at the highest resolution possible and email me a test image and we'll see how it looks. Beyond that, the
following info pretty much still holds true.(If you go
to http://www.strongkeepsakeimages.com/testimonials.html,
scroll down the page a bit, the composite of the two women, was done totally be email, from
AUSTRALIA!) Carefully go through your photos and pick out the best ones you have to represent that special person or event. The better the originals are, the better your final collage will be. If some of your photos are not perfect, don't worry, they can usually be enhanced easily, without affecting price. If you only want to include certain parts of a photo, that's OK. Just indicate what portion you want or don't want and I can usually oblige. Minor cropping and deleting is not a problem. Seriously damaged photos can be worked with but may incur more time. Once you've gathered your photos, put a stickie note on the back of any that need special attention and indicate who or what it is and their importance to the project (ie; Mom #1 or Cousin Vinny #12 or all equally important and I will do my best!). Please don't use pen, sharpie, paper clips or staples, all these items risk damaging your precious photos! Carefully place your photos in an envelope and close the flap. (We recommend placing the photos between cardboard sheets, or any other form to keep them flat to protect during shipping. Be sure to mark the package "PHOTOS, DO NOT BEND".) We have over 30 years experience in the area of graphic media, and know how to carefully handle your photos. We will use the utmost care with your them, as they are precious to you. If you are local ( View Map ), we can arrange a meeting to get the items from you. For our location details, view the contact page. Can I get my collage in different sizes?
Yes. All our composites are based on 8" x 10" print size. They are designed to look their
best inside an 8" x 10" mat and frame. All composites are also available as 16"x 20" posters (inquire about pricing),
excellent as car posters or rec room applications! The final composite can be reduced to print on smaller sizes,
unfortunately, 8" x10" does not reduce proportionately to either 5" x7" or 4" x 6". When such a reduction is made,
sacrifices have to be made and the result may not be as appealing.
Other sizes available on request.
